Orient Star RE-BQ0001G Contemporary Three Hand Men's Watch-38.7mm

The Orient Star Contemporary Sakigake RE-BQ0001G is the latest addition to the Sakigake design project, created to mark the 75th anniversary of the Orient Star brand. The Japanese word “Sakigake” means “pioneer” and reflects the brand’s commitment to exploring new possibilities and forms in watch design. The model is based on the concept of “subtle strength,” which combines flowing curves with more distinctive structural elements.

The watch captivates with its functional simplicity and clean design. The golden dial of the Orient Star RE-BQ0001G model is adorned with a subtle sunburst finish that accentuates the lacquered surface. It is complemented by newly designed skeletonized hands and applied faceted hour markers, reminiscent of flower petals. The model deliberately omits the traditional power reserve indicator and date display, resulting in a much more balanced appearance.
The highly legible dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating.
